| For all those of you who have a driving license
or intend to acquire one in near future, the following
questionnaire would be of immense help -- 1: At a pedestrian crossing , who
has the right of way:
: Train
: Wild life
: Persons crossing the road maybe
: Trucks and only trucks definetly .
2: A child comes running
in front of your truck . What will you do....
a: Stop , get down and hit the father
b: Stop , lean out of the window and abuse the parents
c: Turn your truck sharply to the left and then swing
sharply to the right to avoid the child
d: Cant say.
3: While driving on a
road , a car driver is sounding his horn behind you. It
means :
a: India has won a cricket match somewhere.
b: He wants to say Hi to you.
c: He wants you to drive faster , so that he can also
drive faster.
d: He just had a fight with his wife and is now hooting
in front of the house of his mother in law .
4: Before getting on a
main road :
a: Make sure the cap of the rum bottle is tightly screwed
otherwise it may spill over potholes of the road.
b: Make sure you dont have a flat tyre.
c: Look to your right and then to your left to see if any
traffic police is around . If yes , reverse.
d: Close your eyes and press hard the accelerator.
5: You see a red light
at a crossing about 500 mts ahead of you . What should
you do:
a:Get excited because you are reaching a red light area.
b: It might be a traffic light , so accelerate and cross
the light before it turns green. c: It must be a traffic
light , so accelerate till you reach the crossing and
then brake hard .
d: Take out a 5 Rs note for the traffic constable.
6: Which side of the
road , should you preferrably drive in:
a: The left side .
b: The right side .
c: The center .
d: Why worry , after all India is a free country and the
whole road is yours.
7: A No entry sign
means:
a: People under 18 are not allowed on the road.
b: Only illeterates are allowed on the road , since they
cannot read it anyway.
c: Bullock carts are not allowed .
d: It means you have to pay 20 Rs to the constable if you
want to drive ahead .
8: Before overtaking a
vehicle :
a: Lean out of your window and yell at the other driver.
b: Hit the rear bumper of that vehicle gently with your
truck , in order to let him know that you mean buisness.
c: Gulp a little from your rum bottle.
d: Say 'Wahe Guru" and let go .
9: What must you have
before you drive any vehicle :
a: License .
b: A flair for adventure.
c: Love for speed.
d: Bottle of rum.
10 : What
should one never do:
a: Drink before driving.
b: Drinking during driving .
c: Holding the wheel with one hand and the bottle with
the other while driving.
d: Holding the bottle with both hands while driving.
