  Homoeopathy cure for cancer

A Calcutta based father-son homoeopathic physician duo has gained recognition for their treatment protocol for cancer patients.
World's premier cancer research body has approved an Indian homoeopathic treatment protocol.   The US government's National Institute of  Health (NIH) and Cancer Advisory  Panel for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAPCAM) have recognized the cancer treatment protocol as "very striking and unusual".

Dr. Banerji and his son Dr. Pratip were invited to speak before the Comprehensive Cancer Care 2000 conference in Washington on June 29. Dr. Banerji was the lone homoeopath among the 1200 physicians attending the Fifth International Oncology Conference in Corfu, Greece in 1995. He presented 16 brain tumour regression cases with homoeopathic medicines.

The  US Department of Alternative Medicine followed up with lab trails using Dr. Banerji's homoeopathic medicine on cancer cells, at Houston. Having reviewed his case studies for over a year, NIH's CAPCAM recently certified the series, including four cases of lung cancer, and is now keen on funding a clinic in Calcutta exclusively for cancer patients to be treated by only homoeopathic medicine.

According to Dr. Banerji, most cases get cured within 6 months, but some may take as long as 2 to 3 years. Also there is no side effects  like the conventional allopathic cancer treatment. The medicines also cost less. But a cure is not always sure, he maintains. Just like in allopathy no one can assure you a cure if the malignancy is at an advanced stage, homoeopathy too has its limitations, he concedes.
