Anti-depressant for low sex drive in females

Researchers found out that an anti-depressant drug sparked increased sexual interest, arousal and fantasies in women diagnosed with a low sex drive.

A drug Bupropion hydrochloride marketed by GlaxoSmithKline, is used for the treatment of depression. 

This research was done by Dr. R Taylor Segraves, professor of psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. Of the 51 women studied for a period of 8 wks. almost one third experienced increase in the number of episodes of sexual arousal, sexual fantasies and interest in engaging in sexual activities.
